Vintage Shoes That Need a Comeback

Vintage Shoes That Need a Comeback

The other day we were pursuing the isles of goodwill looking for those goldmine pieces and we stumbled across a pair of Joma cowboy boots. They were gorgeous, black and in mint condition. We couldn’t believe it. Its rare to find a great shoes on the racks and its extraordinary when you get something high fashion. But this made us think about the shoes of our childhood and what we miss. These are our top five footwear that need to make a comeback. - Doc Marten Fisherman Sandal - The fisherman sandal has had many lives but nothing is more iconic than the 90s doc marten version. This iconic sandal has a round turtle shell like shape, giving your feet a clunky clobber look and in the most iconic snuff brown leather shade. These days the gladiator sandal has taken over and it definitely less durable, unique and so unlike the grandpa sandal we so covet. This shoe needs a comeback for real! And made in the same shade and quality too! No more synthetic leather. - Converse Thigh High Lace Ups - We might be bias and partial to this emo-rock inspired sneaker but the thigh high lace up converse boot is one of the brand’s best designs. Where did it go? The iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star XXHi were discontinued in the eaRly 2010s but every emo kid in the mid 2000s had a pair. Simple in design yet bold, it was a calling card for other memos. We need em back! In 2022 they trended on Tik Tok for a while but inflated prices have overshadowed - Sketchers y2k Jammers - Anyone fans of Darcy and the Wildberries or Rugrats? The iconic Sketchers Jammer seems to have made some kind of appearance in the outfit rotation of the sisters in this show. We love a good combat, lugz combo. The jammer features the soft jell sole with the suede material on the sides. The OG ones were extremely durable and comfortable. Nowadays these boots are not as soft or comfortable.
